Helena, I do have a question for you...Granted that Israeli control of Gaza and the West Bank has been as fair or compassionate as it should be but hasn't Hamas contributed to the suffering of Gaza citizens as well by funneling off a large share of all aid coming to Gaza for its armaments to inflict harm against Israel, its vast tunnel network and to personally enrich Hamas leaders (several are billionaires)?

I'd say suffering of Palestinians needs to be addressed but Israel is not the sole actor -- the attitudes and actions of the Arab world (especially terrorist groups like Hamas) has hindered and continues to hinder a just solution in that region.
