French people have beautiful places to walk. Have you ever walked in Paris? One of the most beautiful cities in the world and then there are all these beautiful little towns and villages. Why wouldn’t you walk? How about in the US walking through the target parking lot or the Walgreens parking lot? Do you think that’s pleasant? It’s car culture in the United States that prevents people from walking more unless they live in New York or Boston, or some other city with decent places to walk.
